A TEENAGE charity champion has found a place to hold a fundraising wrestling tournament.
Chris McWilliam, aged 15, appealed for help to find a venue for the event, which he has organised to raise cash for Epilepsy Action.
Bosses at Rumworth Hall, in Prescott Street, Bolton, have agreed to host the tournament, which is attracting wrestlers from as far away as Mexico.
Chris said: "I'm really excited. My mum has epilepsy so Epilepsy Action is a charity that means a lot to me.
"I'm a wrestler, so it's great to be doing this show. I get to help a good cause while also doing what I love."
Chris, who takes his GCSEs this year, has been wrestling since he moved to Breightmet aged 13.
The event will take place at Rumworth Hall on March 2. Doors open at 6pm and the tournament starts at 7pm. Tickets priced £5 per adult, £2.50 for children and £10 for families, are available at the door.
