AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY of former terror chief Johnny "Mad Dog" Adair is to be published next month.
The book - entitled Mag Dog - will chronicle his rise through the Ulster Defence Association, which saw him become one of Northern Ireland's most feared men, his time in prison and repeated attempts to kill him.
It will also feature his time in Bolton following his release from prison for directing terrorism.
Under the Good Friday Agreement, he was freed early after serving two-thirds of a 16-year sentence. But his licence was revoked for activities relating to terrorism.
Mad Dog is due for release on March 15 after Adair signed a deal reportedly worth £100,000.
His wife, Gina, moved to Horwich in February, 2003, after fleeing Northern Ireland when a loyalist feud erupted.
Adair moved to Scotland following a conviction in Bolton for assaulting her. She and two of their children remain in Bolton.
