POLICE seized a car from Bolton town centre for having no insurance.
The car, a red Volkswagen Polo, was parked in Old Hall Street North, just off Victoria Square, when police took it away on the back of a truck.
The car had a sticker on the back windscreen saying it had been seized for having no insurance.
Police tweeted about the seizure, saying: "Today we seized a vehicle for not being insured. If you don't pay we will take it away! Stay insured... its the law."
