FORMER Bolton Wanderers player Fabrice Muamba appeared on a television game show with his nearest and dearest at the weekend.

The retired footballer appeared on ITV's All Star Family Fortunes on Sunday evening with wife Shauna, as well as his mother-in-law, brother-in-law and a close friend.

They went head-to-head with Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh and her family in a bid to win up to £30,000 for their chosen charities.

BWFC fan Vernon Kay, who hosts the show, introduced the family and a video shot at the Muamba's Cheshire home revealed he was voted prom king while at school and his celebrity crush is Halle Berry.

The 26-year-old was forced to retire from football after he suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the pitch at White Hart Lane, during an FA Cup match between Tottenham Hotspur and BWFC in March 2012.

To find out if victory went to the Muambas or the Singhs, catch up with Family Fortunes on ITV Player.
