RESIDENTS who have not been to a Bolton library for more than a year are being offered a free DVD rental to encourage them back.
Bolton Council is making the offer to new and lapsed members who take along a copy of this article.
All DVDs are stored at Bolton Central Library but can be ordered from any branch library. Council bosses hope the offer will encourage more residents to use libraries in the borough.
Facilities at the central and branch libraries include free internet access, reading groups and specialist courses, as well as books and magazines to borrow.
