ST JOHN Ambulance fears many Bolton companies are inadvertently breaking the law by failing to ensure their premises are risk assessed and meet fire safety requirements.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force with little publicity in October and, although St John Ambulance runs courses enabling companies to comply with the regulations, take up has been poor compared to other health and safety training they provide.
