- Venture into Ye Olde Man and Scythe pub to see the famous ghost
- Go to the cinema to see any other film
- Go to Queens Park for a kickabout
- For the price of a cinema ticket - buy half the stock at Pound Bakery in Newport Street
- Hold a mournful all night vigil for the trees that have been chopped down in Newport Street
- Go to get a haircut at Zachs barbers in Horwich — having checked the shop webcam to see if the queue was small
- Organise a transfer to Manchester City before officially signing for Bolton
- Go back in time at Smithills Hall or Hall i' th' Wood

- See fish from all over the world at Bolton Aquarium
- Grab an instrument and take to the stage at the Ye Olde Man & Scythe’s open mic night – the Cider 'ouse Jam Nite
- Unleash your inner thespian and join one of the town’s many amateur dramatics groups
- Visit the animals at Smithills Hall Farm or the Wellbeing Farm

- Join the kids to ride the elephants in Newport Street (before they get moved)
