TICKETS are still available for this week's Bolton Sports and Physical Activity Alliance awards at the Reebok Stadium.
The event at 7pm on Friday, February 16, will see the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton, Cllr Walter and Mrs Sheila Hall, present 12 awards to members of sports clubs and school teams.
Special guest is athlete Sophie Hancock, aged 20, who won a silver medal in the shot-put at the International Paralympic Committee World championships in Finland in 2005.
The event will be compéred by Jonny Cowan, community sports development manager at the Greater Manchester Sports Partnership.
Tickets are £15 each which includes a Bucks Fizz drinks reception, three-course meal and raffle featuring prizes including a framed signed Bolton Wanderers shirt and tickets for the forthcoming derby against Blackburn Rovers.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to Bolton Hospice and the Royal Bolton Hospital breast cancer and stroke units.
