HULL City manager Phil Brown must wait until Easter before knowing if he will be allowed to keep Wanderers' striker Ricardo Vaz Te for the rest of the season.

The former Whites assistant manager has been so impressed with the young Portuguese striker he has asked Sam Allardyce to let him stay at the KC Stadium beyond his current month's loan.

But the Wanderers boss is playing a waiting game.

"I've already made enquiries and Sam has his injury concerns like any manager at this stage of the season and he'll assess that nearer to the time," Brown said.

"Maybe after the Easter period where we've got a few games, we'll discuss it properly and hopefully keep Ricardo here for another month."
