Wanderers are hot on the trail of Danny Philliskirk, the 16-year-old son of Tony Philliskirk, who topped the Whites' scoring charts three years in a row in the Burnden Park years.
Philliskirk Jnr, who is still at school, is on the books of Oldham Athletic, where his father is in charge of the successful youth set-up.
