Lancashire's batsmen were given a good workout in two rain-affected matches against Durham on their pre-season tour of South Africa yesterday.
Both counties split the squads, with Steven Croft smashing 80 and Glen Chapple an unbeaten 70 in Lancashire A's 284 for 5. Durham replied with 141 for 3.
Stuart Law struck 143 in the B side's 287 all out, while the North-east club reached 159 for 2.
