ONE Direction pop megastar Harry Styles was said to be "blown away" looking at a miniature sculpture of himself, carved painstakingly into the end of a pencil by a Bolton artist.
The work, by Hedley Wiggan, aged 49, of Tonge Moor Road, was urgently flown to Los Angeles after it caught the eye of producers of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Harry and his One Direction bandmates were appearing on the programme in the US on Thursday night when they were shown the tiny model.
Mr Wiggan said: "Harry Styles was blown away looking at the sculpture
"It's fantastic, it's great.
"They are sending me the sculpture back and I'm going to do the other band members."
