ATHERTON LR's hectic period continues when they travel to Nelson for tonight's rescheduled NWCL Division One clash - their fourth game in seven days.

Rovers were winning 4-1 at relegation-threatened Nelson last month when the floodlights failed, forcing the match to be abandoned.

Since then, Nelson, like Atherton, have undergone a resurgence under new management, but the Crilly Park club will be eager to bounce back from their derby defeat at the hands of Atherton Collieries on Easter Monday when they slipped to their first loss in seven games.

LR boss Roy Sweeney is expected to name the same team for tonight's clash, while Ian Given has been ruled out for the season after breaking his wrist following a collision with the goalkeeper in last week's 5-1 victory at St Helens.
