Bolton Wyresdale 4 Tonge United 3 BOLTON Wyresdale continued their good run with a well-deserved win over Tonge United.
Wyresdale, still missing several regular players, started slowly and some sloppy defending allowed Tonge to take an early lead.
Kris Lord hit back for the home side after good work by Simon Griffiths, and Andrew Clough's first goal for the club handed Bolton a 2-1 half-time lead.
Wyresdale goalkeeper Graham Parr made two outstanding saves before further goals from Lord and David Liversedge gave the hosts a healthy lead, before Tonge made the scoreline closer than the game was.
