TOTAL Impact Records boss Nigel Roberts has spoken about working with Bolton metallers Strain on their sexy debut video.
The video to the band's song April, which was shot in Manchester's rock lapdancing bar Caged Asylum, is currently available on their website, www.strainmetal.co.uk.
Nigel said: "The video was a celebration of everything that is great about Bolton. It was shot by Bolton video company, Apple Video Facilities, at Manchester's Caged Asylum Rock club.
"Both Paul Cragg, of Apple Video, and myself are Boltonians born and bred and we have also conducted all our business in the town, so it was nice that we were able to work on this project together. It was the first time we had worked together since we used to play in local rock bands in the 80s."
The video should start to air on Kerrang TV, Scuzz and Rock World TV within the next few weeks.
And it was such a success that Total Impact Records have now commissioned Paul Cragg to create the video for their other signing, Surrey metal band Godsized who will be filming their debut, Fight And Survive, in Bolton during early May.
