A TEENAGER was arrested after he allegedly threatened to stab a woman and smashed windows at a house.
Police were called to Ainsworth Lane in Tonge Moor at 4.45pm yesterday following reports that a youth had threatened to stab a woman.
After the woman had left the house, a teenager inside refused to come out and began to smash windows and throw objects at officers outside.
A section of the road was cordoned off before the youngster agreed to come out.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and making threats to kill and was due to be questioned today.
