A TAKEAWAY chain is helping primary school pupils develop healthy eating habits.
School children are going into Subway in Derby Street, Bolton to make their own sandwiches as part of a "healthy eating for schools" initiative.
Subway employee Sharon Sweeney said: "The children use fresh ingredients and are introduced to different foods. The have also been doing their own healthy eating projects within school and this is a fun way for them to pick up and retain the information."
