BIKERS from Westhoughton and Hindley Motorcycle Clubs joined forces to hand over £1,600 to a special needs school.
More than 30 bikers travelled 80 miles along the A49 to Condover College in Shropshire, handing out more than 30 Easter eggs to the students when they arrived.
The clubs raised the cash for the students' fund through a variety of events, including an It's a Knockout-style tournament organised by former Westhoughton club chairman Peter Jackson in Horwich last year, which raised £1,200. Barclays Bank added £750 to the total.
The students will decide how to spend the money.
