A HUGE power cut left more than 3,600 homes across Bolton and Bury without power.
Power was down from about 6.15pm on Monday, with Electricity North West (ENW) reporting a high-voltage fault to be affecting the region.
A total of 3,607 homes in Little Lever, Breightmet, Harwood, Great Lever, Ainsworth, Bury and Ramsbottom were affected.
ENW said damage to their equipment was responsible for the outage and most houses lost electricity for a short period of time, with the last 262 homes in Bury regaining power at 8.30pm last night.
They were in Woodhill Street, Woodhill Road, The Close and Birks Drive.
