BOLTON'S parks will host three events tomorrow.
Moses Gate Country Park offers hanging basket workshops from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
The workshops are at the Rock Hall Visitor Centre. There will be a £15 charge for each basket, which will cover materials, including plants, compost, plant food and water retaining crystals.
There is also a Walk in the Woods, between 9.30am and 2.30pm, which will cross the boundary into Bury and Salford.
Anyone wishing to take part in the family and wheelchair-friendly walk should meet at the visitor centre with suitable clothing and a packed lunch. Dogs should be on a lead.
Moss Bank Park hosts a Pond Watch from 10am to 11.30am to show how pond life has flourished following a clean-up of two ponds last autumn.
The event is suitable for families and anyone wishing to attend should ring 01204 334343 to book a place. Wellies are required. Participants should meet at the entrance to Animal World.
