BOLTON has joined the likes of Edinburgh, Beijing and Washington, in welcoming its very own panda.

The town centre will be seeing a lot more of the world’s most adorable bear with the arrival of its newest coffee shop, Panda Coffee.

As part of a double celebration to mark the shop’s opening and the restoration of its premises, in Bowkers Row, just off Nelson Square, there will be three pandas out and about in Bolton town centre on Saturday, January 23, to entertain shoppers and to give away some Panda goodies.

The shop’s owner, award-winning entrepreneur Peter Laithwaite, believes the stunning location, the friendly staff and high-quality products, which include the finest in Italian coffee and delicious, locally sourced food, are the perfect combination.

Mr Laithwaite, who won SME Business of the Year at the Bolton and Bury Business Awards 2012 for another successful venture, said: “We are thrilled with the coffee shop, and we are aiming to give customers an unrivalled experience, based on great customer service, outstanding food and drink, and, above all, wonderful coffee.”

“We have also tried to put our stamp on the shop by adding in a little fun and originality that you might not find in the average high street chain.”

Local property company Cube Construct were tasked with turning his vision into reality. They are now setting their sights on creating more coffee shops across the North West with a planned expansion of Panda Coffee throughout the region.

Customers can take advantage of some great offers, including money-off vouchers.
