BOLTON comedian Paddy McGuiness caused a stir among Coronation Street fans by posting a picture of himself on the cobbles.
Rumours about the Take Me Out host started after he uploaded a picture of himself outside the famous Rovers Return and Roy's Rolls, teasing his twitter followers as to whether he would be re-appearing on the ITV show.
He initially featured on the soap as Dougie the park keeper back in August 2015 for a six-episode stint and hinted that his character would be making a comeback by posting "Dougy's back...for a butty" on his Twitter account.
However, unfortunately for soap lovers, it was revealed that Paddy was in fact recording for another mystery programme.
The entertainer is the second celebrity to take to Twitter in the last month from the northern soap set, with former Saturday's member Rochelle Humes also posting a snap behind the bar of the iconic street pub with the hashtag #newshow @ITV.
