TWO people had to be rescued after a lift broke down in a Bolton health centre.
A woman, aged 62, and man, aged 39, got stuck between two floors for around an hour yesterday morning.
The lift in the Crompton Health Centre broke down between the ground floor and first floor with the pair inside at around 9am.
Firefighters from Bolton North were called to the scene and had to use be instructed via telephone on how to get the lift motors working from the engineer.
After 45 minutes the lift came back into action and reached the first floor.
The pair were said to be unharmed but shaken.
