BOLTON comedian Peter Kay returns this festive season with a Christmas Comedy Shuffle special.
The programme will feature favourite clips from Car Share, Phoenix Nights and a seasonal singalong with Sir Paul McCartney.
After the huge success of the Christmas special, Peter Kay: 20 Years Of Funny last year, this new series was commissioned to celebrate and re-discover the award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director’s funniest and finest work.
The first episode aired in April and featured his comedy creation Geraldine McQueen, as well as revisiting the grand re-opening of the Phoenix Club and gags about misheard song lyrics from his stand-up show.
The episode to air on Christmas Eve on BBC One will be the last in the current series.
