Police issue safety advice after spate of burglaries
POLICE are asking people to be vigilant after several burglaries in Smithills.
A status on GMP Bolton North’s Facebook page said that the incidents had taken place during the day.
It added: “Please be vigilant. Ensure all door and windows are locked, the house is alarmed with a light visible during the hours of darkness.
“Ensure all presents are not display.”
Suspicious circumstances should be reported to the Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or the police on 101.
