HELEN Flanagan is back on the cobbles and her arrival has certainly split opinion among fans.
While many were delighted to see the Sharples girl back on the box, not all viewers were complimentary about her return to Coronation Street last night.
The Bury-born starlet, mum to 19-month-old daughter Matilda, is back on set as Rosie Webster after a five-year absence.
She returned home with sister Sophie from Miami, where Rosie had supposedly been living it up as a glamorous model.
Twitter was set alight with comments and the #RosieWebster hashtag as armchair critics had their say.
Scores of viewers left positive feedback, saying she was ‘slaying’ the role, looked ‘stunning’ and her return made them the ‘happiest person ever’.

But for every positive comment, you always get the haters with some branding the former pupil of St John's Primary School in Bromley Cross 'irritating', 'annoying' and accusing her of 'overacting'.
#RosieWebster - overacting of the highest order 👏🏻 #corrie pic.twitter.com/dNjSuE0U8C

One thing's for sure, the drama is not over yet as last night the police came knocking and Rosie found what appeared to be a stash of drugs hidden in her luggage.
Speaking ahead of her return, Helen - who honed her acting skills at Carol Godby Theatre Workshop in Bury - said: "Rosie is still very much putting on that she is a glamorous model, but eventually it will unravel that everything isn’t quite as it seems.
“She meets a man and he stitches her up and the police come knocking.
"Rosie could be in trouble but she is very innocent about it and doesn’t realise she has been set up, which I’ve enjoyed playing.”
Coronation Street in next on screens on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
