THE community of Morris Green came together for a fundraising tea party at St Bede's C of E Church.
Around 30 people attended the event on Saturday, February 18, which raised £150 through selling tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes, as well as a bring and buy stall.
Gillian Blackburn, churchwarden, said: "These events raise money for the church, but as much as anything we want to get as many members of the community together as possible and help them socialise with each other.
"We are hoping to be able to get our toilets converted this year so that they have disabled access, so some of the money may be used for that."
