DOCTOR Who came to town on Saturday for a special exhibition.
Staff at Waterstones, in Deansgate, Bolton, dressed up as characters from the hit BBC One television show for the day.
Children were invited into the store to take part in games and competitions.
Bookseller Michael Hughes dressed as the doctor, while children's book buyer Helen Lewis was a Cyberman.
Mr Hughes said: "Interest in Dr Who has really picked up in the area, and that is why we organised the event. It has created a new generation of fans, and now it is especially popular with girls. All the kids loved it and it was great for them to join in something fun while it was raining."
