REGARDING your article in last Saturday's The Bolton News, (June 23), about the proposed extension to Heaton Cemetery.
What a joke - a resident of Armadale Road saying "his prime concern is the taking away of this green land".
The land where the Ladybridge Estate stands was once green farmland, full of hedgerows, trees, and an abundance of wildlife. What a blot on the landscape it is now. In fact the farmer at Atkinsons Farm probably enjoyed his view from his home before the estate was built.
