AN ELDERLY woman who had her bag snatched from her hand just three doors away from her home thinks she could be another victim of a serial thief.
The 69-year-old woman was targeted as she walked home from shopping at Morrisons in Mornington Road.
The incident happened in Brigade Street, Bolton, on June 9, and the woman has been terrified to leave her home since.
She said: "I had just been shopping and was nearly at my house when a man ran up from behind and grabbed my bag out of my hand.
"The man was wearing a navy blue tracksuit and had short brown hair. He was in his late teens, early 20s. He needs to be caught because vulnerable pensioners are at risk."
The man got away with £80, three bank cards and 40 cigarettes.
Police are investigating the case.
