Lancashire's Brad Hodge has been named in Australia's preliminary 30-man squad for the Twenty20 World Cup in September.
The squad contains all members of the team that won the Cricket World Cup two months ago, apart from the retired Glenn McGrath.
Australia's Selection Chairman Andrew Hilditch said; "The national selection panel will meet again in mid-July to discuss this provisional squad.
"At that time, we'll select the 15-man team that will contest this competition (Twenty20 World Cup) as well as considering the composition of the Australia A team's tour of Pakistan in September and the squad for the tour of India for a series of one-day internationals in early October."
If selected in either squad, Brad's last match for Lancashire this season will be the LV County Championship fixture against Hampshire at Old Trafford, 21-24 August.
