SUMMER fun was in abundance when Westhoughton Primary School held its seasonal fete.
Children enjoyed the bouncy castle and pony rides from Demi Steens, aged 10, and her welsh pony Bonny.
The school is earmarked for closure next summer as part of Bolton Council's proposals to reduce falling pupil rolls.
The fair could be the school's penultimate summer gala.
Diane Howarth, the school's administration officer, said: "The summer fair was wonderful, we had an excellent turnout.
"The money raised will go to the children.
"We will organise something special next summer."
