BUSINESS recovery specialist Unity is looking for a buyer for Halifax-based bed manufacturer Dorlux Beds.
Dorlux, which has a distribution centre in Clive Street, Bolton, employing 230 people, has been placed into administration.
The company, which turned over 17 million in its last financial year, is a mattress and bedding furniture manufacturer whose products are made locally in Halifax, but distributed in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
It is continuing to trade under the administrators' control.
Matthew Bowker, a partner at Unity, has been appointed as administrator to Dorlux. He said: "The company has a strong heritage and is a large local employer. Therefore, we are keen to find a buyer for the business to ensure that staff can keep their jobs."
