A motorist was taken to hospital after his car was sandwiched between two lorries in a motorway crash just before lunchtime.
The man's silver Suzuki 4X4 was travelled southbound along the M61 between the Kearsley spur and the M60 at 11.35am when it collided with the two lorries.
He suffered minor neck injuries and was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
