ADULTS are being invited to go back to the classroom as part of Smithills School's Family Learning Week.
They will be able to take part in lessons given by pupils, including food production, hair and beauty and camera skills.
The week is aimed at encouraging parents to get involved in their children's education, especially if the pupils are starting secondary school.
Assistant head Stuart Bowman said: "These are informal sessions where advice can be exchanged and strategies developed to support families through what can be a difficult time for a young person."
The sessions will take place in the UCAN Centre, off Shepherds Cross Street, tomorrow at 1.30 pm, and at the Hope Centre in Johnson Fold on Friday, at 10am.
