A counselling service to help Muslims deal with a wide range of issues, such as depression, domestic problems and drug abuse, has been set up by the Bolton Council of Mosques.
It offers free and confidential help from qualified counsellors, both male and female, who are able to communicate in English, Urdu and Gujarati.
"The counselling initiative has proved to be an important and much-needed service within the local community," said counselling co-ordinator Aysha Patel.
For more information or a referral, the counselling service can be contacted on 01024 392919.
