A MAN was banned from every shop in Bolton town centre after stealing a laptop.
Charlie Brown, of Callis Road, Bolton pleaded guilty at Bolton Magistrates’ Court to stealing the laptop from a Sainsburys supermarket on January 6 this year and using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards a man on January 31.
The 39-year-old was handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and also a criminal behaviour order banning him from any retail premises in Bolton town centre and also the Tesco Express on Wigan Road.
He also pleaded guilty to threatening a man on January 31 this year
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £85.
