Music lovers heading for this weekend's Parklife festival have been warned not to fall victim to a wristband scam.
Con artists operating around the Heaton Park venue, in Prestwich, are targeting festivalgoers by offering fake writsbands for e-tickets.
GMP Whitefield has taken to Twitter to urge festivalgoers to make sure they get their wristbands from official Parklife staff.
This year's festival, which spans the weekend, is headlined by indie band the 1975 and R&B star Frank Ocean
