A PUNK rock all-dayer will be held in Bolton to raise money for the homeless.
The event is part of Musicians Against Homelessness 2017 which runs throughout September and coincides with the 50th anniversary of homeless charity Crisis.
Bolton band Billyclub will headline the day and they will be joined by a host of up-and-coming local acts including Xtract, THE PAPASHANGOS, Mammoth Tank and Diablofures.
The day of ‘punk rock mayhem’ kicks off from noon at BarMetro.Rocks, in Bradshawgate on Saturday, September 30.
Musicians Against Homelessness was launched by former Oasis manager Alan McGee in 2016.
He said: “I am delighted that bands of this calibre want to be part of this campaign.
“The support in Bolton has been tremendous and inspiring and it’s fantastic that so many quality bands have come forward
“Although our primary concern is to combat the scourge of homelessness it is vital that the MAH gigs also give up-and-coming combos a chance to play to larger audiences.”
All proceeds are donated to Crisis.
