A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after falling ill at a bank in the town centre.
North West Ambulance Service was called to Barclays in Market Street at around 12.23pm.
An ambulance and two rapid response vehicles went to the bank and the patient was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital.
A spokesman from North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to someone being taken ill and the patient, reportedly female, was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital."
