A COACH driver who lost his way in Bolton this morning ended up demolishing a bus shelter.
The National Express driver, who had travelled to the town from London, was attempting to do a three point turn on Blackhorse Street and hit the shelter with the rear of the vehicle.
He was heading to the bus station at 8.45am with six passengers on board but was unaware that it recently moved location from Moor Lane to Great Moor Street.
After stopping to ask directions he tried to turn around but hit the shelter.
No one was injured and workmen were quickly on the scene to make the shelter safe.
