BOLTON Hospice is seeking volunteers with expertise in fundraising and human resources to join their Board of Trustees.
The Board is the charity's governing body, and comprises volunteers who use their skills and expertise to provide strategic leadership.
The Hospice said that its board of trustees is currently under-represented in some areas, and would would therefore particularly welcome applications from Bolton's Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community.
As a charity, the hospice is reliant on funding from local generosity, and needs to raise £3.4 million annually to provide specialist care and support for people affected by life-limiting conditions, in the hospice and at home, free of charge.
Applicants should submit their CV, outlining work experience, expertise, commitment to Bolton Hospice, core principles and values and at least two referees, to recruitment@boltonhospice.org.
