The near miss was caught on camera by police as Bogdanovics missed the police vehicle but a wagon in the outside lane was unable to stop in time and clipped his HGV, which appears to be crossing the main carriageway. The video was posted on Twitter by GMP Traffic.
Appearing on December 5, Bogdanovics pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £400, a victim surcharge of £40 and prosecution costs amounting to £85.
