FREE Wi-Fi is now available for patients and visitors to Royal Bolton Hospital.
Residents will be able to browse the internet, look up health information and download apps after Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, took the decision to help visitors 'stay connected'.
The hospital trust issued advice on how to use the Wi-Fi.
Visitors should enable their Wi-Fi, select the NHS Wi-Fi network, open up the internet browser, and then open a website in the address bar if they are not automatically connected.
The hospital's helpdesk can be contacted on 0344 848 9555 for any queries.
