BUTCHERS have raised £1,000 for a Bolton dementia charity.
The Bolton Butchers Association collected the money at the group's annual dinner dance, which was held at Rivington Barn in Horwich.
The event was attended by John Mettricks, president of the national Butchers Association.
Money raised from the event has been donated to the Bolton Dementia Support Group.
The cheque was presented by Jack Morris, president of the Bolton Butchers Association, to Alison Lowe from the support group.
