A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences after a stolen car was reported driving on the wrong side of the road and colliding with vehicles.
Officers were called to Earnshaw Street, Daubhill, this afternoon after being told a vehicle was driving dangerously.
It is reported the car was driving on the wrong side of the road and colliding with other vehicles.
Officers attended the scene and a 31-year-old man was arrested.
He was in custody yesterday afternoon under investigation for dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and theft of a motor vehicle.
Inquiries are ongoing into the incident and anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
