THE weather may have suggested otherwise, but spring had certainly sprung at Turton Tower over the weekend.
Harwood and District Flower Club and friends from other societies staged a wonderful flower festival in the historic building much to the delight of visitors.
The theme was Grand Celebration with arrangements depicting life and national events.
Committee member Margaret Fazackerley said: “We had in total 2,400 stems and foliage in the festival. The feedback we got was amazing.”
The club meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Cornerstone Church.
