SCENE: Park Lane in Westhoughton after the crash
POLICE closed a road while they dealt with an accident this morning.
Officers were called to Park Road, Westhoughton, at around 9.30am today to reports of an accident.
The ambulance service also attended the incident between Platt Lane and the Chequerbent Roundabout.
Police said there was no serious injuries and the road had reopened again by 11am.
Traffic did initially queue in the are while police dealt with the incident.
