CAR Share fans are in with the chance to be the first to see two new episodes, including the series finale, at a special charity showing.

Four episodes of Peter Kay's BAFTA winning series will be shown at Blackpool Opera House on Saturday, April 7 to raise money for The Lily Foundation.

Two of the episodes that will be shown have never been seen before, Car Share: Unscripted and the highly anticipated series finale.

The Lily Foundation is the UK's leading charity dedicated to fighting mitochondrial disease, working to support sufferers, raise awareness and fund research.

Peter said: “The Lily Foundation is an inspiring charity that helps to improve the lives of children with Mitochondrial Disease.

"I’ve had first-hand experience of the foundation’s work and I’m proud to raise both awareness and much needed funds to help with the inspiring work they provide to children and their families”

The Bolton comic took to social media to announce the tickets going on sale.

It was the first time he had posted since announcing the cancellation of all upcoming work projects due to unforeseen family circumstances.

Last week it was announced that Car Share had been nominated for a BAFTA Craft award for comedy writing.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday and cost £12.

Doors will open on the night at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm prompt.

There is a maximum of six tickets per person and the event is for people aged 15 and above.

All profits from the screening will go to The Lily Foundation.
