A CINEMA rolled out the red carpet for some very special guests.
Homeless people from across the town were invited to a free showing of Avengers: Infinity War at Cineworld, The Valley on May 2, where they were also provided with free popcorn and drinks.
The event, organised by Cineworld’s Sheen Dad, is part of the Cinema’s plans to become more involved with the community by hosting regular events.
Jonny Webster, cinema manager, said: "We are always looking to work with the community as much as possible.
"Whether that is supporting a local artist by showcasing their work or inviting a nursery to bring the children down to enjoy a film.
"Today was particularly great because we were able give the cinema experience to those who are not able to go the cinema.
"We believe that Cineworld is the best place to watch a movie and working with local charities we aim to give that magical cinema experience to everyone."
A second special viewing for children and families at Bolton Hospice is also being planned for July.
